Shelby Stansell

Shelby Jean Baker Stansell, age 80 of Alexander City, Alabama went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 19, 2019 at Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, Ohio.

She was born September 13, 1938 in Alexander City, Alabama to the late Woodroe & Erine (Brown) McDaniel

She was a member of God’s House in Hackneyville, Alabama. She retired from Russell Mills after working there for many years. She also loved to ride her lawnmower & cut her grass.

Surviving are her son, Doug (Melissa) Baker of New Vienna,Ohio , daughter, Diane (Larry) Slettevet of Pell City, Alabama. 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, & 2 great great grandchildren. Also surviving are 3 sisters & a brother, several nieces & nephews, and many very close friends.

Shelby is proceed in death by her husband Judson Stansell , daughter Patty Judd & one sister.

A service remembering Shelby will be on Sat. May 18,2019 at the God’s House in Hackneyville,Alabama 9334 HWY 63N. at 1:00 P.M.
