Samantha Gasaway

Samantha Jane Gasaway,
age 81, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away late Monday night, September 20, 2021 at the Hospice Care Center in Maysville, Kentucky.
She was born December 17, 1939 in Vanceburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Glen & Geneva Marcella (Hardymon) Fite.  She married Clayton Andrew Gasaway, who preceded her in death on December 4, 2007.
Samantha worked as a Receptionist for H & R Block and various auto parts stores in Wilmington.  She was a member of Sligo Baptist Church.
Surviving are her son- Cirby A. (Robin) Gasaway of Clarksville, OH; granddaughter- Hana (Corwin) Shelton of Wilmington; grandson- Cody Gasaway of Wilmington; great-grandchildren- Jace Shelton & Tate Shelton of Wilmington; & sister- Shirley Free of Plumville, KY.
In addition to her parents and husband, Samantha was preceded in death by her sisters- Jessie, Betty, & Jean; and brothers- Denny & Maurice.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M., Monday, September 27, 2021 at FisherEdgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington.  Interment will follow in the Clinton County Memory Gardens, Wilmington.
