Robert Nave

Robert Nave, age 76, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away Tuesday morning, October 8, 2019 at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

He was born April 13, 1943 in Hillsboro, Ohio, son of the late Deforest and Carrie Opal Cline Nave.

Robert was a member of Ohio Army National Guard for 6 years. He was a farmer for all his life and a truck driver for many years.

Surviving are his wife, Sheila Nave, whom he married on November 2, 2013, brother, Jon (Twilla) Nave, nephew, Mark (Sandy) Nave, two nieces, Susan (Jamie) Hauke and Karen Kretzer, cousin, James Cline, four step-children, Julie (John) Jacobs, Deron (Melissa) Johnson,  Ginia (Lanny) Wells, and Danielle (Greg) Hauke, and eleven grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard, James, and George Nave.

Funeral Services will be held at Edgington Funeral Home, 17 E. Main St. Mowrystown, Monday, October 14, 2019 at 11:00 am with Pastor Chris Gobin officiating. Interment will follow at Robert's Home with the United States Arm Active Duty Honor Memorial Squad according military honors.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday, October 13, 2019, 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm.

Contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
