Robert Montgomery

Robert "Kent" Montgomery of Buford, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2019, after a battle with cancer.
Kent was born to George & Ann Montgomery on October 24, 1939.
He was married to Donna ( Keaton) Montgomery for forty nine years. Kent was a brick mason for over sixty years and used to coach Buford Knothole baseball. He was an avid Reds & Bengals fan and loved horse racing.
Kent was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Janet Kirk, and brother, George Montgomery Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Donna,  children, Bobby Montgomery,  Stephanie  (Charlie) Lanier, Brandon Montgomery,  Jeremy  Montgomery,  and Robin ( Bret) Schwartz.
Grandchildren,  Renee Montgomery Perkins, Caitlyn Lanier, Chaz  Lanier, Shane Montgomery , Nathan Montgomery,  Alexis Schwartz,  and Aubrey Schwartz,  along with a host of niece and nephews.
In keeping with his wishes, he was cremated, and there will be a private family ceremony held at a later date.
