Lynn A Cody,
age 62, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Friday evening, October 26, 2018 at the Wilmington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born December 17, 1955 in Wilmington, Ohio daughter of Sandra Louise (Janes) Wiget, of Wilmington and the late Clarence Wayne Wiget.  On February 5, 1978   in Wilmington, she married Stephen Cody, who survives.
A 1973 Wilmington High School Graduate, Lynn had worked as the Health Handicap Coordinator for the Clinton County Head Start for a number of years, along with other various jobs through the years.  She was a 50 year member of Presbyterian Church of Wilmington, where she was active in the session and president of the deacons.  Blessed with a beautiful singing voice, she provided enjoyment for many through the years by sharing God's gift. She was a member in the Clintonaires Singing Group and had been in the Wilmington Music Club, where she served as president.
In addition to her husband and mom, other surviving family members are her son- Brian A. (Alissa) Cody of Wilmington, OH; sister- Julie C. (Mary Harper) Wiget of Reno, NV; brother- John F. (Colleen) Wiget of Wilmington; and grandchildren- Alisson Jane, Joseph Michael,  & Colten Wayne; niece- Jessica (Levi) Studer;  nephew- Joshua Wiget; and mother-in-law- Gladys Cody, Sligo, OH;  sisters-in-law- Susan (Jim) Schutte, Wilmington, Jenny (Meredith) Englehart, Columbus, & Teresa (Mark) Shetley, of Missouri.
In addition to her father, Lynn was preceded in death by her brother- David Wiget and  daughter- Rebecca Sue; sister-in-law- Shirley Patterson.
Funeral Services will be held 6:00 PM, Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at the Presbyterian Church of Wilmington, 840 Timber Glen Avenue, Wilmington  with Pastor Debbie Linville officiating.
Friends will be received from 4:00 PM until the time of services at the church.
The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
