Joyce Rapp

Joyce Colleen Rapp, age 71, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away early Saturday morning, March 13, 2021 at Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.

She was born October 4, 1949 in Williamson, West Virginia, daughter of the late Otis Edward and Geneva Wallace Morris.

Joyce had worked at Ahrestry and Randall Corporation. She loved to read and crochet.

Surviving are her daughter, Andrea (Richie) Bell of Lynchburg, son, James (Lisa) Carpenter of Vandalia, son-in-law, Craig Hall of Wilmington, eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, sister, Judy (Don) Nichols of Lynchburg, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by three daughters, Jerri Lynn Carpenter, Sonja M. Rapp, and Linna Hall, son, Reather Carpenter, two sisters, Linda Nord and Eva Eakins, brother, Robert Brewer.

Services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 W. Locust St. Wilmington, Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 6:00 PM.  Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery at a later date.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 pm to 6:00pm.

Contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
