John Galliett

John Robert Galliett,
Age 85, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Monday evening, June 21, 2021 at the Laurels of Blanchester.
He was born March 27, 1936 in Mowrystown, Ohio, son of  the late Ralph William & Gene Amelia (Amey) Galliett.
A 1954 Buford High School graduate, John was a Vietnam Era War Veteran of the US Army.  He retired from Ford Manufacturing plant in Cincinnati.  John was a member of the New Antioch Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife- Wanda Galliett; 3 sons- Jeffrey (Debbie) Galliett, Mt Orab, OH,  Scott (Dawn) Galliett, GA, & Sean (Tonya) Neece. Amelia, OH; 3 step-children- Steve (Cathy) Jones, Tom Jones, & Rachel (Dean) Dennewitz; sister- Pat DeHaas, Buford, OH; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nephews.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his first wife- Shirley Allen Galliett, his second wife- Sonya Jones Galliett; and 3 daughters- Janice Carol Galliett, Nancy Lynn Jewell, and Christy Ann Shearer.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, June 28, 2021 at the New Antioch Church of Christ, 1101 Antioch Road, Wilmington  with Pastor Sid Clay officiating.  Interment will follow in the Buford Cemetery in Buford, Ohio, where the Highland County Honor Guard will accord full military honors.
