Ernest Wayne "Pepsi" Rockhold

Ernest Wayne "Pepsi" Rockhold, age 83, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away Sunday December 22, 2019 at Greenfield Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation.

He was born May 28, 1936 in Hillsboro, OH, son of the late James William Anderson Rockhold  and Edith Gladys (Handcock) Rockhold.

He is survived by his sister, Arlene M. Cole of Hillsboro, OH; brother, Carl Williams of Buffalo, NY; daughter, Mariah Captain of Dayton, OH; step-children, Mike (Sharon) Fletcher of Meridian, ID and Bobbi (Phil) Murray of New Zealand; a host of nieces and nephews; special caregiver, Kathy Grazilla of Hillsboro, OH; special friend Russell “Mike” Steward of Dayton, OH; and a host of great nieces & great nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ernest was preceded in death by a brother, James William Rockhold, Jr., sister, Marlene Rockhold, sister, Bernice Artemecia Thompson, brother, Ronald Rockhold, Sr.,, and step-mother, Doris Rockhold.

According to his wishes, Ernest will be cremated and his ashes will be buried beside his mother in the Hillsboro Cemetery. No services are scheduled at this time.
