Eric Weir

Eric Scott Weir, age 63, of Greenfield, formerly of Dayton, passed away from Covid Friday, January 15, 2021 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.

He was born June 3, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio, son of Charles Edwin Weir and Joan (Hull ) Salsbury.

Scott was a graduate Vandalia Butler High School class of 1975 and he served four years in the United States Army. Scott was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Surviving are his son, Brian Weir of Bozeman, Montana, two daughters, Amber (Damon) Borozny of Smyrna, Georgia and Kaley Weir of Debuque, Iowa, two grandchildren, Scarlett and Felix Borozny, brother, Charles Weir, two sisters, Wendy (Ray) Chaney and Susan Mohler, and several nieces and nephews.

Eric was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Weir and Joan (Jim) Salsbury.

Cremation will take place and no services will be held at the time.

The family would like to thank Edgewood Manor in Greenfield for taking such good care of Scott for the last couple of years.
