Dottie Brown

Dottie Brown, age 79, of Sardinia, Ohio, passed away Friday evening, April 29, 2022 at Hospice of Hope in Maysville, Kentucky.

She was born November 30, 1942 in Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter of the late Ralph and Rose Mary (Weber) Carpenter. On May 4, 1963 she married Lytle Brown.

Dottie was a member of Allensburg Church of Christ and a graduate of Goshen High School Class of 1960.

Surviving are her loving husband of nearly 59 years, Lytle Brown Sr., two sons, Lytle Dale (Judi) Brown, Jr. of Delhi and Greg (Jennifer) Brown Sr. of Lynchburg, three grandchildren, Greg (Lindsay) Brown Jr., Nathan Brown, and Natalie Brown, three great-grandchildren, Harper, Hailey, and Hattie, three brothers, Donald Carpenter, Ralph Carpenter, and Danny (Sandy) Carpenter, and several nieces and nephews.

Dottie was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Rose Mary Carpenter.

Services will be held at Allensburg Church of Christ, 7105 Abernathy Road, Lynchburg, May 5, 2022 at 12:00 pm with Pastors Bob Stevens and Leo Kuhn officiating.  Interment will follow in the Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, Ohio.

Friends will be received at the church on Thursday from 10:30am until the time of the services.
