William J. "Bill" Edgington

UWilliam "Bill" Edgington, age 77, of Hamersville, Ohio, passed away on March 11, 2026 with his family by his side at his home in Hamersville, OH.

He was born August 17, 1948 in Mowrystown, OH, son of the late Vernon Edgington and Velma Agnes Lewis Edgington.

He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran; a Graduate of Whiteoak High School Class of 1966, a long time member of the Mowrystown American Legion and was a member of the Sardinia VFW.

Surviving are wife, Donna Edgington, whom he married November 5, 2005, son, Bud (Myra) Edgington, daughter, Tiffany Hinkle, two step-son, Ed (Stella) Smith, Step-son, Garrett (Amy) Kenneda, 8 grandchildren, Miranda, London, Emma, Sydney, Willow, Spencer, Xaxier, Piper, 2 great-Grandchildren, Paisley, Savannah, sister, Vickie Hetzell, and special friends, Joe Wagner, Kip Young, Dan DeClair, Jeff Harvey.

In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by a sister, Pricilla Jane Johnson.

Services will be held at Maham Funeral Home, 187 N. Second St. Williamsburg, Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 11:00 am with Pastor Mike Haley officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in the Buford Cemetery.

Friends will be received at Maham Funeral Home Saturday, March 14, 2026 10:00 am until 11:00 am.

Contributions in Bill's memory may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
