Viki L. Laymon,

age 72, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away on late Friday night, November 21, 2025 at the Hospice of Dayton.

She was born November 9, 1953 in Wilmington, daughter of the late Melvin Eugene & Betty Jean (Baker) Swinehart.

A 1972 Lancaster High School graduate, she retired in 2008 from the Kautex "Randall" Textron Corp. in Wilmington after 35 years of service.

Surviving are her daughter- Mandi Jo (Bob) Anders, Washington Courthouse, OH; son- Josh Laymon, Xenia, OH; 3 grandchildren- Desiree (Christian Gorby) Laymon, Xenia, Daniel Johnson, Jamestown, & Destiny (Tyler) Daugherty, Xenia; great-grandson- Cohen Gorby; 4 sisters- Christy Hoadley, Wilmington, Tami (Dwight) Binkley, Lancaster, Laurie Crooks, Wilmington, & Bobbi Jo (Dale) Walls, Fairborn; 2 brothers- Terry (Heidi Joiner) Swinehart, Lancaster & Tim (Patty) Swinehart, Lancaster, a number of nieces & nephews; and life-long best friend- Susan Irwin.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Monday, December 1, 2025 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust St at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington with Celebrant Barb Deibel officiating. Interment will be at the families convenience in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington.
