Thomas K. Scott

Thomas (Tommy) K. Scott transitioned from earth to heaven on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at his residence.

He was born in Wilmington, OH to Chacy Sr. and Elva (Ward) Scott on August 1, 1955. He was the youngest of nine children.

He graduated from Wilmington High School & The Ohio State University.

Tommy’s career acumen of attention to detail, problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills span 40+ years in various work environments: US Air Force, WPAFB, State of OH and he retired in July 2023. He lived a full life and enjoyed music, concerts, traveling, sports, reading, movies, cooking, family reunions/gatherings and ALL things involving his son Tommy II. He was a natural conversationalist who was well informed on many topics including sports, politics, and entertainment.

Tommy was predeceased by his nurturing parents, loving wife Sandra (Aguilar) Scott and 7 extraordinary siblings.

He is survived by his son Thomas K. Scott,II, one sibling Maxine (Scott) Gilham, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and countless friends.

He will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, love, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 225 Randolph St. Wilmington, OH 45177 with Pastor Byron McGee officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington.

Friends will be received on Friday at the church from 11:00 AM until the time of the services.
