Thelma Elliott, age 86, of Wilmington, OH, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026, at Hospice of Cincinnati surrounded by family.
Born on April 16, 1940, in Killeen, Texas, she was the beloved daughter of JD and Annie Lee Crocker. She married Larry Joseph Elliott, Sr., who preceded her in death, and together they built a life rooted in devotion, friendship, and family.
Thelma is survived by her sons, Larry Joseph Elliott, Jr. and his wife, Barbara; Vince Eugene Elliott and his wife, Anna; Jay Clarence Elliott and his wife, April; and many beloved grandchildren.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker and was known for her kindness, strength, generosity, and faith.
She enjoyed flying with her husband, Larry Joseph Sr., who was a pilot, and they loved restoring old cars together. Her greatest joy came from spending time with family and helping others. She also loved gardening, attending church at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, cooking, birdwatching, and caring for animals.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Joseph Elliott, Sr., her sons Mark Anthony and Chris Allen, and her daughter, Patsy Jo.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26 at 11-12 pm at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow. Burial will take place at New Antioch Cemetery, Wilmington, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
The family would like to thank the caregivers, hospice staff, family, and friends for their kindness and support during this time.
