New Vienna

NEW VIENNA - March 7, 1963 - October 26, 2023 A symbol of good luck and rebirth, getting a visit from a robin reminds us to discover happiness and encourages us to let go. Being a messenger for loved ones, seeing these birds allows us to embrace life and hold joy in our hearts. Loving Mother of Mark Jr, Matthew, and Gabrielle. Proud Grandparent of Matthew, Livia, and Brayden. Dearest Sister of Christopher, Robert, and Tom. Beloved Daughter of Robert and Paula. Honored Widow of William, Father of Nick and Brendan. She passed peacefully, in her sleep dreaming of joining her soulmate and best friend. Born in Cincinnati, a proud southpaw and cooking aficionado, known for her world-famous lasagna and unrivaled cheesecakes that would fill your home with delicious aromas and warmth. A timeless woman with a love for the arts, music, family, and her cat, Shadow, a loyal companion always ready to lounge with her. A lust for travel that whisked her to all corners of the globe, as well as truly spreading her wings and soaring in the clouds, she had a career as a flight attendant. She gave those who met her that same passion for the beauty in the world around us. Robin, born with a green thumb, could usually be found outdoors making every opportunity to spruce up the garden, kicking up her muddy feet at the end of the day with a Little Kings in hand. Always ready to throw her cards down for a lively game with some Springsteen rolling on vinyl in the background for a pig roast and backyard games with family and friends around a bonfire. An ever-growing collection of Halloween decorations and an annual costume party would easily clue you into her favorite season. A smile that would reflect onto you immediately upon meeting her gaze made you feel at ease. She had a youthful spirit that was strong in this world and will live on through her family and friends. Cherishing her time in retirement with high-school love, Mark Sr, with whom they shared their wonderful children, and she lived together on a farm raising everything from chickens to pigs and enjoying the most amazingly lush flowers and vegetables of every spectrum to surround her. She was a soul taken too swiftly from us all and will be forever missed in our hearts. The family would appreciate donations to Saveohiobees.org charity in her honor. There will be a celebration of life held at a later date for friends and family to remember the bright light that she projected.
