Rickey E. Daughtery

Rickey E. Daugherty, age 77, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away on Saturday October 31, 2026 at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro, OH.

He was born May 22, 1949 in West Virginia, the son of the late Harley E. Daugherty and Bessie Mae Tunahill Daugherty.

Rickey took pride in his work as a butcher and after retirement he worked as a gas station attendant just to get out and socialize. He was a Browns football fan and enjoyed spending time with and spoiling his granddaughter Avery.

Surviving is 1 son, 2 daughters, 3 step-sons and many grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Rickey was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Fay Daugherty.
