Richard Alan Craig

  Richard Alan Craig, 
age 72, of Decaturville, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday morning, August 2, 2023 as a result of Covid at the Jackson General Hospital in Jackson, TN.  
He was born April 30, 1951 in Burbank, CA, son of the late Robert Eugene & Anna (Shithovitz) Craig.
  Richard had worked as a Body Shop Mechanic for Smitty's Garage in Parsons, TN. He was a US Marine Corps Vietnam War Veteran and a former member of the Wilmington First Christian Church- Disciples of Christ.
 Surviving are daughter, Cristie Hawthorne, granddaughter, Brianna Hawthorne, Aunt, Doris Mae Walker of Wilmington, OH, friend, Mitchell Lee Milholen of Parsons, TN; and  Numerous Cousins.
 In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his sister- Gloria Jean Craig; and aunt- Elizabeth E. Craig.
 
 Graveside Services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 29, 2023 with Pastor Doug Sibcy officiating in the Morrow Cemetery, Second Street, Morrow, Ohio 45152.  The Active Duty US Marine Corps Honor Squad will accord military funeral honors.
