Mill Hollingsworth

Mill Hollingsworth, age 88, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away on Sunday July 19, 2026 at Ohio Living Cape May in Wilmington, OH.

She was born May 3, 1938 in Adams County, OH, daughter of the late Virgil Jackson Grooms and Dentie Mildred (McCarty) Grooms.

Mill was a beautician for many years in Wilmington and was a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her beloved grandchildren.

Surviving are 3 children, Rick (Debbie) Hollingsworth, Kim Blankenbeckler and Philip (Linda) Hollingsworth; 5 grandchildren, Wil, Beau, Candy, Caleb and Lauren: 10 great grandchildren, Darius, Alysse, Gabrial, Tyler, Yasmine, Destiny Hope, MacKnzie, Penelope, and Little Wil. Also left to mourn her passing are 3 great great-grandchildren, 1 sister, Patty Nicodemos, 1 brother, Tommy Grooms and many nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Hollingsworth, a sister, Doris Helsel and a son-in-law, Mac Blankenbeckler.

A Celebration of Mill's Life will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 W Locust St Wilmington, 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 25, 2026.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday, 12:00 - 2:00 p.m.
