Mike Bates

Mike Bates, age 61, passed away onTuesday, June 23, 2026 at Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, Ohio.

He was born August 26, 1964 in Campton, KY, son of Bobby Bates and Norma Crase Bates.

Mike was a long-time truck driver and he loved spending time with his two grandchildren.

Surviving is his daughter and son-in-law, Olivia & Matthew Johnson, two grandchildren, Shylee & Irwin, son, Owen Bates, 2 sisters, special cousin, Joe Crase, Sr. and several other cousins & family members.

In addition to his mother, Mike was preceded in death by a cousin, Joe Crase, Jr. and nephew, Calvin Pottorf.

Friends will be received at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 W Locust St Wilmington, Sunday, June 28, 2026 1:00 pm 3:00 pm.
