Michael Mullenix

Michael Eugene Mullenix, age 68, of Wilmington, OH, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018 at his home.

He was born December 31, 1949 in Columbus, OH, son of the late Arthur Edmund Mullenix Sr. and Pauline Mary Summers Mullenix.

A 1968 graduate of Wilmington High School Mike was a Girl Scout Troop Leader for several years and was a former police officer for the City of Wilmington. He also worked in the Clinton County area as a chimney sweep for several years. In his later years Mike was a direct care provider to both the elderly and mentally handicapped.

Surviving are three daughters, Contessa (James) Goodwin, Jr., Donita (Charles) Dunn, Elizabeth (Daniel) Huff, 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, brother, Arthur Edmund Mullenix, Jr., and one sister, Shirley Ann Long.

In addition to his parents,  Mike was preceded in death by three sisters, Pixie Jane Mullenix Riggs and Harriett Elizabeth Mullenix and Mary Lou Fisher.

Services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 30, 2018.  Interment will follow in the New Antioch Cemetery, New Antioch, OH.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday 12:00 noon, until the time of services at 2:00 p.m.
