Mary L. Schmid

Mary L. Craig Schmid, age 82, passed Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at home. She is the wife of Jack Schmid. They shared 59 years of marriage together.

She was born April 4, 1939 in Dayton, OH, daughter of the late Marvin Craig and Alberta Knoblaugh Craig.

Mary was a graduate of North Ridge High School and was a former employee of National Bank & Trust and the Clinton Memorial Hospital.

She was a member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church. She was envolved with several organizations including Homemakers and serving as a 4-H and Girl Scout Advisor. She enjoyed golf, photography, bowling and baking. Mary will be remembered for her amazing award winning chocolate chip cookies.

Surviving are husband, John E. Schmid of Jamestown, OH, daughter, Stephanie (Brian) Massing, son, Steve (Mary) Schmid, daughter, Susan (Graham) Wright, Grandchildren, Breanna Wilson, Chris Krietzer, Nicholas Schmid, Nathan (Alexis) Schmid,& Kyle (Tiffany) Massing,  Great-Grandchildren, Nevaeh, Isaac, Zeke, Jocelyn, Teagan, Riley, Siblings, Judi, Bonni, Jane, Debbie, Don, Tim, Joe and a close sister-in-law, Betty.

Mary was preceded in death by father, Marvin Craig, mother, Alberta Knoblaugh Craig, brothers, Denny & Dickie.

Services will be held at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, February 14, 2022 at 11:00 am with Rev. Michael Holloran officiating.  Interment will follow in the Clinton County Memory Gardens, Wilmington, Ohio.

Friends will be received at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, Ohio Sunday, February 13, 2022, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm.
