Marlene Hamm Stephenson

Marlene Hamm Stephenson, age 68, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away on Monday evening, April 6, 2026 at Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery.

She was born September 23, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of James Willis Hamm Sr. and Helen Lavern (Simpson) Hamm.

Marlene was a member of the New Market Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, reading, genealogy, and animals, but most off all spending time with her family.

Surviving are her son, Bryan Stephenson of Hillsboro; daughter, Heather Dawn (Tony) Ross of Cincinnati; and 6 grandchildren, Avery (Dalal) Ross, Dylan Stephenson, Liz Stephenson, Andrew Ross, Olivia Stephenson, and Delilah Ross.

Marlene was preceded in death by her parents: James and Helen Hamm.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.

The Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro has been entrusted with the arrangements.
