Margery Ann Johnson Henry Kilpatrick, age 88, formerly of New Vienna, passed away on Monday June 29, 2026 at the Court House Manor in Washington Court House, OH.
She was born September 21, 1937 in Martinsville, OH, daughter of the late Russell Emerson Johnson and Hazel Margery Vandervort Johnson.
Margery was a graduate of New Vienna High School Class of 1955; was a life time member of the Clinton County Farmer's Union and the Martinsville Grange; was the former owner of the Friendly Village Inn. She had also worked at several different places including the Blanchester Bank, Irwin Auger Bit, the Micro Center in Wilmington and when she was in Mississippi for 3 years, the Leland Water Works. Margery enjoyed music and playing in the Hand Bell Choir at the Sabina United Methodist Church; square dancing with the Yellow Rockers; cooking and gardening.
Surviving are 2 sons, David Wayne (Amie) Henry of Arlington, WA, Paul (Lady) Henry of Ecuador, 3 daughters, Elizabeth (Steve) Veness of Sabina, OH, daughter, Margaret Louise (Steve) McKibben of New Vienna, OH, and daughter, Susan Fetters of Calabash, NC. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, Sarah Veness, Amanda McKibben, Nicole McKibben, Jason Henry, Barb (Shane) Jenks, Dana Henry, Brian (Kristina) Fetters, Deric (Jessica) Fetters and Emerson Henry. Also left to mourn her passing are 9 great grandchildren and her brother, Brother Wendell Eugene (June) Johnson of Sabina, OH.
In addition to her parents, Margery was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Curtis Henry, second husband, Walter Lewis Kilpatrick, a grandson, Aaron Paul Henry, brother Russell William Johnson, gandson, Ben E. Veness.
Services will be held at Sabina United Methodist Church, 61 W. Elm St. Sabina, OH 45169 , Thursday, July 2, 2026 at 11:00 am with Pastor Debbie Kaylor officiating. Interment will follow in the New Antioch Cemetery, New Antioch, Ohio.
Friends will be received at Sabina United Methodist Church Thursday July 2, 2026 10:00 am - 11:00 am. The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, is serving the family.
