Linda Marie Johnston

Linda Marie Johnston, 74, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away on October 23, 2025.

She was born October 23, 1951 in Chillicothe, OH, daughter of the late Paul Edwin Routt and Marie Helene (LeDonge) Routt.

Linda was a member of the Wilmington Garden Club, the Wilmington Elks Lodge and was an avid golfer, often playing at the Elks course and Snow Hill. She loved traveling and spending time with her family. Christmas and holidays were always special to her as she would decorate each family member's gifts according to their likes and hobbies. Linda was an accomplished artist with a gift for creating beautiful artwork, many of which will be on display at the funeral home during her services.

Surviving are son, Bradley T. (Michelle) Johnston, daughter, Krystal D. (Tim) Spurlock, five Grandchildren, Franklin Tyler (Regina) Johnston, Kourtney M. (Lorenzo) Harris, Sydney M. Johnston, Caden S. Spurlock, Garin C. Spurlock, five Great-Grandchildren, Kozekiel B. Harris, Kaizen D. Harris, Eleanor Jane Johnston, Dominic Bradley Johnston and Oliver Bernard Johnston. Also surviving are two brothers, Michael (Charlotte) Routt and Patrick "Packy" Routt and six nieces and nephews, Christy, Brian, Patrick, Jennifer, Tiffany, Patrick and her faithful K-9 companion Chloe.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, William Franklin Johnston.

Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Mannebach officiating.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday, 12:00 - 1:00 pm.
