Leo  Sandlin,
age 69, of Clarksville, Ohio, passed away, Friday night, December 14, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born August 24, 1949 in Doorway, Kentucky son of the late Elisha & Emma (Caldwell) Sandlin. On April 30, 1971 in Newtonsville, Ohio, he married Bonnie S. (Harner) Sandlin, who survives.

Leo retired from the Randall Textron in Wilmington after 37 years.  He had served in the US Army National Guard from 1968 to 1975.
In addition to his wife, other surviving family members are his daughter- Shelly (Mark) Cockerham; grandchildren- Brittany (Joshua) Reynolds, Chris Cockerham, Zack Cockerham & Kyle (Anna) Reser; great-grandchildren- Grayson & Gideon Reynolds, Jaxon & Easton Reser; 3 brothers- Wilson (Debbie) Sandlin, George (Heidi) Sandlin, & Danny (Lisa) Sandlin; 5 sisters- Jean Werner, Mary Jane Fry, Thelma (Chuck) Morris, Christine (Richard Fry, & Alice (Bert)Hubbard; brother-in-law- Benny Harner; sisters-in-law- Ronna Sandlin & Patty (Mark) Taylor & several nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, Leo was preceded in death by brothers- Troy & Paul Sandlin; brothers-in-law- Robert Werner, Clyde Fry, Phillip David Harner Sr and sister-in-law- Janice Harner.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington  with Pastor Elzie Cockerham officiating.  Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, where the Wilmington American Legion Post #49 Honor Squad will accord full military honors.

Friends will be received from 12 Noon until the time of services on Wednesday, Dec. 19, at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home.
