Lelina Sue "Lee" Burns,
age 70, of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, formerly of the Wilmington, Ohio area, passed away early Monday morning, September 29, 2025 at the Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville, Kentucky.
She was born January 13, 1955 in Toledo, Ohio, daughter of the late Roderick Layne & Amelia Beatrice (Cowden) Lisk. On June 14, 1997 at Faith Lutheran Church in Wilmington, she married John William Burns, who survives.
Lee was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Wilmington, the American Legion Aux., Blanchester, for over 50 years, and the IOOF of Martinsville. She retired from American Showa in Blanchester, OH after many years of service.
In addition to her husband, other surviving family members are her son-Stephen "Noodle" (Charity Neanover) Lisk of Wilmington; step-son- Aaron (Marilyn) Burns of Clarksville, OH; step-daughter- Loretta Keech of Leesburg, OH; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister- Melody Manka of Bartlett, IL & nephew- Matthew Manka.
In addition to her parents, Lee was preceded in death by her brothers- Terry & Louie Lisk.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 2, 2025 at the Martinsville IOOF Cemetery, Martinsville, OH with Pastor Joel Richter officiating.
The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
