Kathryn Isabel "Kay" Palmer,
age 86, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away suddenly early Monday morning, July 21, 2025 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.
She was born December 30, 1938 in Lebanon, Ohio daughter of the late Leonard Milton & Gladys Eleanor (Dill) Palmer.
A 1956 Graduate of Lebanon High School, Kay had studied art education and art history at the Ohio State University and then graduated from Miami University. She had retired from the City of Kettering Rosewood Art Center and had briefly taught in California early in her career. She was a member of the Springfield Friends Meeting in Wilmington and the Creative Quakers in Clinton County.
Surviving are her husband- Dennis Dill, Wilmington; daughter- Lynn Becerra-Baughman, Columbus; 3 grandsons- John Paul Becerra-Baughman, John Joseph Becerra-Baughman, & John David Becerra-Baughman; and numerous in-laws, nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, Kathryn was preceded in death by her first husband- George Baughman and brother- Keith Palmer.
Celebration of Life Services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 9, 2025 at the Springfield Friends Meeting, Todds Fork Road, Wilmington with Pastors Mike & Nancy McCormick officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, August 9 at the church.
Kay has donated her body to the Anatomical Gift Program at Wright State University and then will be buried in the Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, Ohio.
