Karyn Lynn Brown

Karyn Lynn Brown , age 51, of Wilmington, passed away on Thursday night, April 2, 2026 at Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery.

She was born October 22, 1974 in Medford, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Calvin Edward and JoAnn Marion (Vold) Salefske.

Karyn was a L.P.N. at Tri-Health Physician Partners in Wilmington for many years. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who adored her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, epically to the mountains and the beach. She loved thrifting at Goodwill, watching crime shows, paranormal investigations, and medical shows, and she was never seen without a Mt. Dew in her hand.

Surviving are her 3 children: Jeff Brown of Lancaster, Kristin Brown of Grove City, and David T. Brown of Wilmington; 7 grandchildren, Case, Aliyah, Aspen, Adalyn, Cora, Mya, and Josie; sister, Kimberly (Mark) Hendricks of Taylorville, IL; nephew, Matthew (Amanda) Mckinney; and her husband, David L. Brown of Wilmington.

Karyn was preceded in death by her parents: Calvin and JoAnn Salefske.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
