John Root

John Morgan Root,
age 51, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday morning, August 19, 2021 at the Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington.

He was born June 4, 1970 in Hyannis, MA, son of the late Alfred Edward & Virginia Faye (Cassidy) Root.  On June 2, 2007 in Paducah, Kentucky, he married Sonia Kathleen Howe Root, who survives.
John worked as a customer service representative for the West Chester Wal-Mart, and was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints, Wilmington.
In addition to his parents and wife other surviving family members are his son- Jesse William Root; Uncle- Jim Cassidy; aunt Judy Johnson; and cousin- Sharon Cassidy.
Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM., Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2415 Wayne Road, Wilmington with Bishop T. Rees Watson  officiating.  A gathering of John's friends will be received from 10:00 AM until the time of services on Saturday, August 28 at the church.  The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
