John Warren Ray,

age 73, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away on early Thursday morning, April 9, 2026 at the Copper Knoll Nursing Home in Washington Court House, Ohio.

He was born January 29, 1953 in Wilmington, son of the late James Darrell & JoAnn (McKay) Ray.

John was a 1971 Wilmington High School Graduate and had worked at Airborne Express and as a delivery driver for the Wilmington Donatos Pizza Restaurant.

Surviving are his sisters- Diane (Rick) Anders of Washington Court House, OH, & Denise (David) Hurry of White Bear Lake, MN; brother- Mike (Jerri) Ray of Wilmington, Ohio; and many nieces & nephews.

Graveside Services will be held 1:30 PM, Monday, April 13, 2026 at Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Truesdell Street, Wilmington, with Pastor John Wirmel, of the Wilmington Assembly of God Church, officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, Ohio.
