John W. Fisher Jr.

  John William Fisher Jr., age 61, of Washington Court House, Ohio, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024 Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.  

  He was born May 11, 1962 in Springfield, Ohio , son of John William Fisher Sr. and Lynn (Shively) Fisher.

  John was a United States Army Veteran and a truck driver for R & L Carriers. He loved fishing, but more than anything he loved being a grandpa.

  Surviving are his two sons and daughters-in-law: Justin and Courtney Fisher of Winchester and Matthew and Erin Fisher of Georgetown, KY;  daughter- Melissa Halloway, Washington Court House, Ohio; special son- Daniel Fisher- Hillsboro; seven grandchildren- Logan, Lexli, Brayden, Madison, Libby, & Avery; four siblings- Tami Fisher, Alicia Martin (Chris Salmons), Kevin (Angie) Fisher, and Timothy (Alana) Fisher; and many nieces and nephews.

 John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lynn Fisher.

 A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

  Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro is serving the family.

  Contributions in John's memory may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
