John A. "Jack" Maher

John A. "Jack" Maher, age 64, of Martinsville, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 4, 2026 in Wilmington, OH.

He was born March 24, 1962 in Wilmington, OH, son of the late Earl William Maher and Norma Jean (Miller) Maher. On March 19, 2010 he married Joanne Parks Maher in Wilmington.

He was a member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church, Sons of the American Legion Post #49, had retired from Ahresty in Wilmington after 26 years of service and was a 1981 Wilmington High School Graduate.

In addition to his wife, Joanne Maher, other survivors include his brother, Robert Earl Maher, sister, Theresa Ann Hensley, two step-daughters, Amanda Jo Flaugher and Kelly Nicole Flaugher, several nieces & nephews, and his faithful furry companions, Bella & Raven.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by two nephews, Jeremy and Justin Rosenwirth.

Services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home Thursday, October 8, 2026 at 1:00 pm with. Interment will follow in the Martinsville I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Friends will be received at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home Thursday, 11:00 am 1:00 pm.
