Jane Lees

Jane Ann Lees, age 88, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home Saturday October 8, 2022 with her family by her side.

She was born July 31, 1934 in Plainfield, OH, daughter of the late Bernard Weaver and Madeline McDermott Weaver. On September 29, 1956 in Coshocton, Ohio she married Paul Wesley Lees, who passed away April 26, 2021.

She was a member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church and had worked at many place including Bob & Carl's in Wilmington.

Surviving are daughter, Magdalene Lees of Wilmington, daughter, Pam (Rob) Bills of Martinsville, son, Tim (Janet) Lees of Cincinnati, 8 grandchildren, Sarah (Alfredo) Pedro, of Utah, Maria (Rod) Dunlap, Timmy (Jan) Lees, Josh (Maria) Lees, Clare, Maddie & Grace Lees, all of Cincinnati, and Capt. Peter (Audrey) Lees, Columbus, GA, US Army; 18 Great-Grandchildren, 1 brother, Thomas Weaver, Colorado, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Jane was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Vivian Teresa Dunlap, 3 sisters, Betty Rauch, Mary Lou Rauch, Doris Smith and 1 brother, William Weaver.

Prayers will be said at 10:40 am Monday, October 17, 2022 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 W. Locust St. at N. Mulberry St., Wilmington, followed by Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 17, 2022 with Rev. Bernard J. Weldishofer, celebrant.  Interment will follow in the St. John the Baptist Cemetery, 5361 Dry Ridge Rd. Cincinnati.

Friends will be received from 5-7 pm Sunday, Oct. 16 with a rosary being said at 7:00 pm at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home.
