James L. Hilterbrandt

James L Hilterbrandt, age 85, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at his home in Wilmington, OH.

He was born November 24, 1939 in Melvin, OH, son of the late James I. Hilterbrandt and Ruth Walker Hilterbrandt.

Jim was a member of the Wilmington Church of Christ where he had served as a former Deacon and Treasurer and was a graduate of Martinsville High School Class of 1957. Following his retirement from Cincinnati Milacron Jim became an avid golfer and had worked at Majestic Springs Golf Course for several years.

Surviving are wife, Linda S. Hilterbrandt, son, Brian K. (Linda K.) Hilterbrandt, daughter, Melissa A. (Paul) Lyles, 6 Grandchildren, Collin James Hilterbrandt, Carson Robert Hilterbrandt, Savanah Lynn Hilterbrandt, Hilary Sue (Brandon) Coyle, Emily Michele Loden and Joshua Alan Lyles. Also surviving is his sister, Mary Mussleman and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jessica Loden, brother, Michael Hilterbrandt, sister, Janet Lundy and mother Ruth Stethem and step-father, Eugene "Bud" Stethem.

Services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Dale McCamish officiating. Interment will follow in the New Antioch Cemetery.

Friends will be received at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home Wednesday, May 21, 2025 12:00 pm 1:00 pm.
