Jacob Michael Estep,

age 35 Years, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Hospice of Dayton.

He was born December 15, 1990 in Beckley, WV, son of Gregory Eugene (Tina) Estep Sr, of Ridgeview, West Virginia. and Ruth Highfield, Wilmington.

A spirited Christian, Jacob was a courageous trooper with his life long battle with cerebral palsy. He had attended Boone County High School in Burlington, Kentucky and the Easter Seals-Red Woods Center in Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky.

In addition to his parents, other surviving family members are his 2 brothers- Gregory E. Estep, Jr. & Steven A. Smith, both of Wilmington; nephew- John Thomas Estep of Wilmington, and many aunts, uncles, cousins & friends.

Jacob was preceded in death by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents.

Memorial Services will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington with Pastor Stephen Wetterhan officiating. Friends will be received from 11:30 a.m. until the time of services at noon at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home.
