  Ingrid  Close, 
age 74 Years, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at home Sunday morning, August 6, 2023.
 She was born November 12, 1948 in Amsterdam, Netherlands, daughter of the late  Evert & Johanna Catharina (Planjer) Brouwer.
She had been a Bartender, a master printer, and a bail bondsman.  She lived a very full and rich life.
Surviving are her son- Tim (Barb) O'Neil of Wilmington, OH; daughter- Tammy Mercer of Casa Grande, AZ; grandchildren- Michael, Gannon, Brandon, Zach, Joshua, Cody & Madison; sisters- Johanna Hunt of St. Louis, MO, & Tanja (Gary) Thacker of Lancaster, OH; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ingrid was preceded in death by her sister & brother-in-law- Linda & Pete Quick; brother- John Brouwer; and special niece- Brandy Smith.
A memorial party will be held in her honor at her grandson Cody's home on Sunday, September 10, beginning at 2:00 PM.
