Herman Edwards,

Age 85, of Blanchester, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday morning, June 18, 2025 after a battle with ALS.

He was born November 30, 1939 in Lawshe, Ohio son of the late Berlin Earl & Juanita Gladys (Hazelbaker) Edwards. On January 23, 1967 in Sparta, North Carolina, he married Joan H. Hudson Edwards, who survives.

A US Army Vietnam War Era Veteran, Herman retired from the Randall Corporation in Wilmington after 35 years of service.

In addition to his wife, other surviving family members are his son- Mark (Debbie) Edwards, Clarksville; daughter- Shari Huff, London, KY; 6 grandchildren-Mandy, Jim, Tonya, Andrew, Mike, & Haley; great-grandchildren- Kayla, Brandon, Brooklyn, Lillian, Emma, & Grayson; great-great-grandchildren- Atticus & Ruby; step-sons- Rick (Conni) Daniel, Brookville, OH & Steve (Betty) Daniel, Lexington, KY.

In addition to his parents, Herman was preceded in death by his brothers- John Buford Edwards & James Edwards, and sister Janice Mullins.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Monday, June 23, 2025 at New Antioch Cemetery, Antioch Road, New Antioch, Ohio with Pastor Paul Crisp officiating. The Blanchester American Legion Post #179 Honor Squad under the direction of Mr. Calvin Martin will accord full military honors.  The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home is assisting the family.
