Gary L. Kratzer,

age 79, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Tuesday morning, April 7, 2026 at the Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Ohio.

He was born September 26, 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of the late Roy Edgar and Margaret Wilma (Gohs) Kratzer Jr.

Gary worked as a Iron worker for the Dayton Local #290 Iron workers for over 30 years, retiring in 1994.

He was a member of the Highland Masonic Lodge #38; Valley of Cincinnati- Scottish Rite and the Wilmington Post #49, Sons of American Legion.

Surviving are sister, Kathy (Dan) Lawson of Wilmington, brother- Eddie (Rachel) Kratzer of FL; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his brother- Larry E. , George E. & Mark Kratzer, and his sister- Dianna Lynn Tira.

Memorial Services will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, April 17, 2026 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington with Pastor Dan Mayo officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, Ohio.

Friends will be received from 12 Noon until the time of services on Friday April 17 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home
