Evelyn Rager

Evelyn H. Rager, age 95, of Batavia, Ohio, passed away on Sunday morning, November 30, 2025 at Batavia Nursing Care Center.

She was born March 2, 1930 in Athens, Alabama, daughter of the late Julius Ezra and Emma Nancy (Dawes) Peryear.

Evelyn loved to garden, fish, and spend time with her family.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law: Keith and Adrienne Rager of Winchester; grandson and his wife: Jake and Joy Rager; and a granddaughter, Emmie Rager.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Rager; son, Doug Harris; and 3 siblings.

Evelyn's wishes were to be cremated and no services to be held.

Edgington Funeral Home, Mowrystown has been entrusted with the arrangements.
