Dreama Faye McDonald

Dreama Faye (Stump) McDonald, age 72, of Ripley, Ohio formerly of Huntington, WV, passed away on Tuesday evening, May 6, 2025 at Ohio Valley Manor in Ripley.

She was born January 1, 1953 in Huntington, West Virginia, daughter of Clarence Stump Jr. and Edna Roseann (Shepard) Stump.

Dreama graduated from Marshall University with a degree in accounting. She had a deep love for the beach, enjoyed visiting lighthouses along the coast, and had a special place in her heart for animals.

Surviving are her mother, Edna Stump of Huntington, WV; three sisters, Dena Kay (Alby) Harris of Proctorville, OH, Diane Blankenship of Huntington, WV, and Kimberly Jo Lambiotte of Huntington, WV; three children, Chuck (Cindy) Sperry of Idaho Falls, ID, Amy Stump of Huntington, WV, and Cindy (Dale) Richey of Hillsboro, OH; and many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Dreama was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Stump Jr.; brother, Danny Stump; and a nephew, Jeremy Stump.

Dreama's wishes were to be cremated and her ashes scattered at Cape Hatteras in North Carolina and a memorial service held at the convenience of the family.

Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro has been entrusted with the arrangements.
