Doug Ballard

Kirk D. "Doug" Ballard,
age 61, of Belfast, Ohio, passed away Wednesday morning,  May 26, 2021 after a battle with cancer at his home surrounded by loved ones.

He was born May 20, 1960 in Dayton, Ohio.  Kirk had worked as a bricklayer, loved sports and the Reds, enjoyed fishing, and just being with family.  He was a US Army Veteran.
Surviving are his loving companion of 16 years, Bonnie King, daughter- Kirklynn Ballard, Greenfield; son- Jared Ballard, Peebles; granddaughter- Allison Rohrer; 4 brothers- Mark Brabson, Belast, Randy Ballard, of Colorado, Clarence Brabson, of Indiana, and Jerry Ballard, of Dayton; and 3 sisters- Patty Ballard, of Florida, Tammy Wehrs, Greenfield, and Tonya Wimer, Belfast.
Kirk was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence & Charlotte (Hunley) Brabson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 30th from 3:00 pm to 7:00pm at his sister Tammy's home at 11945 Hudson Road Greenfield, Ohio.
