Donna Mackus

  Donna Mackus, age 70, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away Wednesday evening, January 10, 2024 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.  
 
 She was born September 25, 1953 in Mariemont, Ohio, daughter of the late Frank Willard and Mary Kay (Scarberry) Bailey. In 1970 at Rowland Heights, CA, she married Doug Mackus, the love of her life.  He passed in 2013.
 
 Donna loved watching TV game shows and singing competitions.
 
 Surviving are her daughter, Teresa Mackus of Hillsboro; son, Israel Mackus of Hillsboro; sister, Opal Foxx; two brothers-in-law: Fred Lipke and John Neidich; and several nieces and a nephew.
 
 In addition to her parents and husband, Donna was preceded in death by three sisters: Lora (Steve) Morello, Carol Lipke, and Debbie Neidich; and a brother-in-law, Jeff Foxx.
 
 No services will be held.
