Donald L Mountjoy

  Donald L. Mountjoy,
age 72, of Wilmington, passed away Monday afternoon, July 17, 2023 at the UC Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.  
He was born October 16, 1950 in Wilmington, son of the late Carl & Mary Alice (Jenkins) Mountjoy.
 
 Donald retired as a construction foreman for Radius Construction in Covington, Kentucky after over 30 years of service. A 1968 Blanchester High School Graduate,  he had been in the Army National Guard during the Vietnam War Era.
Surviving are his daughter- Emily (Justin) Cornett, Blanchester; life partner- Pam McAdams, Wilmington; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, & nephews.
In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his siblings- Jimmy, Ronald, Wanda, & Elsie.
 
Memorial Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Thursday, July 27, 2023 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington. Interment will follow in the Westboro Cemetery, Westboro, Ohio.  A gathering of Don's family and friends will be one hour prior to services from 10 AM to 11 AM, July 27 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home.
