Della Moore

Della "Bea" Moore, age 82, of the Mowrystown Community, passed away Monday night, November 18, 2019 at the Hospice of Hope-Ohio Valley Inpatient Center in Seaman.

She was born July 1, 1937 in Charleston, West Virginia, daughter of the late Leo A. Harper and Willa Lee Gregory.

Bea was a member of God's Holiness Mission in Mowrystown, where she was the Sunday School teacher for many years, up until she wasn't able to attend. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Surviving are her loving husband of 62 years, H. Joe Moore, whom she married on March 31, 1957; daughter: Terry (David) McDaniel of Georgetown; three sons; Raymond (Gloria) Moore of Hillsboro,  Scott (Tonia) Moore of Mt. Orab and Eric (Jill) Moore of Georgetown; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are two sisters: Wanda Whitlock and Betty Jo Affolter; two brothers; Leo Harper and Kenneth Gregory, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Bea was preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua Moore, sister, Mary Wills, and a brother, Richard Gregory.

Funeral Services will be held at Edgington Funeral Home, 17 E. Main St. Mowrystown, Monday,  November 25, 2019 at 1:00 pm with Grandson David McDaniel officiating.  Interment will follow in the Mowrystown Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.

Contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
