David Thompson

David  L. Thompson,
age 79, of Clarksville, Ohio, passed away Wednesday morning, May 25, 2022 at the Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati.
He was born November 9, 1942  in Clinton County, Ohio son of  the late Richard & Zelma Conger.  On January 13, 1962 in Wilmington, he married Penny E. (Shaeffer) Thompson, who survives
David had worked as a  machinist at the Irwin Auger Bit Company for 18 years and then retired from the Randall Corp.
In addition to his wife, other surviving family members are his son- David (Connie) Thompson, JR, and daughter- Bambi Beachy, both of Clarksville; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters- Anita Walker, Wilmington & Nellie Coleman, Kingman,OH.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his daughter- Lori Thompson Murray, son-in-law- Milford Beachy; 4 brothers- Bill, Harry, Tommy, & Lee Conger; and his sister- Brenda Conger.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Tuesday, May 31, 2022  at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry St, Wilmington.  Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, Ohio.
Friends will be received from 12 Noon until the time of services, Tuesday, at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home.
