David C. Raines

David C. Raines, age 66, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born on August 21, 1960, in Georgetown, Ohio, to the late Curtis L. and Helen Raines.

David was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #1161 in Hillsboro, Ohio, and was employed as a Machinist Engineer at Xtek in Sharonville, Ohio.

David will be remembered for his generous heart. He was the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back to someone in need, even if it meant going without himself. He was an athlete and had a passion for all sports. Whether he was playing, watching, or simply talking about the latest game, sports were always a big part of his life. Above all else, David was a family man. His greatest joy came from spending time with those he loved.

David is survived by his loving wife, Kelley Raines; six children, Robert (Crystal) Raines, Jason Raines, Sydnie Raines, Jordan Raines, Kameron Raines, and Alissa Raines; four grandchildren, Robbie Raines II, Nathanael Raines, Grace Raines, and Alexis Bayne; nine siblings; and numerous family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm, with funeral services beginning at 2:00 pm, all at Edgington Funeral Home, 17 E. Main Street, Mowrystown, Ohio 45155.

David will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
