David Crone

David Crone, age 58, of the Mowrystown Community, passed away unexpectedly Thursday afternoon, April 6, 2023 at his home.

He was born September 13, 1964 in Grove City, Ohio, son of Carl A. and Doris Jean (Parks) Crone.

David sold antique transmission parts for many years worldwide. He was baptized at Elevation Church in Blanchester. David loved to fish and be outdoors. He was a very funny and loving man, who enjoyed spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife, Mona Crone, whom he married on June 18, 1991, two daughters, Ashley Crone of Mowrystown and Jodelle (Hank) Dean of Fayettville, grandson, Austin Mintz, granddaughter, Larkin Dean, mother, Doris Crone of Lynchburg, two brothers, Arthur (Amy) Crone and Clayton Crone, sister, Melissa (Brian) Martin, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

David was preceded in death by his father, Carl A. Crone and a granddaughter, Brooklyn Jean Owens.

Graveside Services will be held at Mowrystown Cemetery, Fenwick Rd. Mowrystown, Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Chris Gobin officiating.
