Daniel Foley,
Age 96, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Monday afternoon, March 15, 2021 at home with his loved ones by his side.
He was born January 25, 1925 in Kilpadder, Ireland, son of the late Patrick & Nora (Galvin) Foley.
Daniel had been a Catholic and was in the Royal Air Force during WW II, he was a landlord and a self-employed real estate investor.
Surviving are his wife, Joan Looney Foley, daughter of Edgar Pierce & Myra Elizabeth Looney, whom he married on December 21, 1963; and many nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by his brothers- Jeremiah, Patrick & John Foley; sister- Nora O'Riordan; and sisters-in-law- Virginia Crscrosier & Golda Looney.
Graveside Memorial Services will be held 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at the Addison Mutter Cemetery, close to Keen Mountain, Virginia with Fr. Eric Anokye, from the local Virginia Catholic Community officiating. The Local Virginia Veterans Honor Squad will accord full United Kingdom Veterans Honors with the Union Jack Flag. The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
