Christopher H. Wren

Christopher H. Wren, age 82, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away Saturday June 27, 2026 at his home with his family by his side.

He was born December 24, 1943 in Galion, OH, son of the late Harold W. Wren and Linnie I. VanMeter Wren.

Chris was a master woodworker and enjoyed camping and spending time with his family.

Surviving is his wife, Clara Rose Wren, whom he married November 24, 1962, son, Craig (Cheri) Wren, daughter, Maggie (Larry) Elrod, son, Doug (Christy) Wren, daughter, Traci (Chuck) Faddis, 13 Grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Also surviving are Brothers, Harold (Patricia) Wren, Roger (Nancy) Wren, Son-in-law, Andy Knope and many nieces & nephews.

In addition to his parents, Christopher was preceded in death by his sister, Jenny Wren, a daughter, Staci Jo Knope, and a granddaughter, Sarah Michelle Wren.

A graveside service will be held on August 24th, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Roades Cemetery, Rainsboro, Ohio. The Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro is serving the family.
