  Christine I. Chaney, 
Age 58, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away late Thursday night, September 7, 2023 at her home after a battle with cancer.
She was born November 14, 1964 in Wilmington, Ohio daughter of the late Joseph Allen Chaney  and Charlotte Jean (Gray) Chaney, who survives in Wilmington.
A 1983 Wilmington High School Graduate and a 1987 Ohio University Graduate, Chris was a teacher in various Clinton County Schools and had been a paralegal.  She loved traveling and was a member of the Wilmington United Methodist Church.
In addition to her mother, other surviving family members are her sister- Cathleen J. (Scott Korpowski) Chaney, Cleveland; niece- Kelly Korpowski; nephew- Danny Korpowski; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
 A gathering of Chris's family and friends shall be held Sunday, September 24, 2023, from 2-4 PM, at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington.
